Circa 1st–4th Century CE
An authentic ancient Roman bronze double-pointed stylus or bodkin dating to the Imperial Roman period. Elegantly formed with finely tapered points at both ends, this slender bronze implement displays a rich dark green-brown archaeological patina consistent with long burial and age.
Objects of this type were commonly used throughout the Roman world for writing on wax tablets, leatherworking, textile work, or other fine utilitarian tasks. The balanced proportions and refined shape make this an excellent example of a Roman everyday tool.
The piece survives in complete condition with both points intact and attractive surface wear from antiquity.
